Afternoon Delight

This is my model look ya'll.

I love this look. I call it afternoon delight because of all the vivid colors and mixes. It just brightens my mood when I wear these beautiful colors. 

Sippin on my Jamba juice and reading my W magazine all the while color cordinating with my drink.

Easily turn your skirt into a dress

 These are pictures I took a while ago but, I never got around to posting them.

I feel a Spanish blended with Bohemian when I see this look.

I love this vest, which was a birthday present from my Mom. 

I was driving around Houston, when I spotted this entrance. I thought this was the perfect spot for a photo op.

I turned my long pencil skirt into a dress, put a lace tank top underneath and layered it with a "dream catcher's" version of a vest.

Don't Kill My Vibe

Summer Summer Summer time! Don't you love Summer time? I am about to go do a whole bunch of stereotypical "Summer time" stuff. I am going to wash my car, take my dog to the park, eat a Popsicle all while wearing my short shorts. Also, I am going to be listening to Summer Time by Will Smith.
And yes, I will enjoy every minute of it.

Peplum Skirt

I made a cute old skirt into a peplum top and paired it with some skinny jean. I love they way they look together. 

Office Cool

Here I am office chic mixed with cool cali girl edge. I love mixing and matching my sharp tailored pieces with flimsy soft vintage T-shirts. I always love the outcome.

Full Bloom Bohemian

On a lazy Sunday I ransacked my Mom's closet to help her pair some outfits together. I ended up perfectly pairing a silk print top with a long leather skirt  to make a Bohemian inspired look. The accessories were all tonal to go with the boho theme. I have always been a fan of the bohemian style. I usually blend boho with weekend chic. In this instance I went bohemian bold and I must admit it looks good on me.

 I vividly remember helping my Mom clean out her closet when I was a little girl. I used to be truly intrigued by all her covetable clothes and wishing for a time when I could fit them.  I was just delighted to look at her candy hued clothes, her Sunday's best and her edgy downtown gear. Now, that I can fit some of her clothes sometimes I play dress up like a little girl and she's right there with me. Pairing clothes together in a unknown closet keeps me razor sharp. How do you stay sharp?

Taking inspiration from this 1993 Photoshoot with Tyra Banks I did my own interpretation of their stye. I used a crop top, and lots of color pop. Also if you want to do nineties you can't go wrong with gold hoops. 
Another thing I love about the nineties were all the beautiful range of colors women would wear. It all made the world seem like a happier place. After all, colors can have an effect on your mood.
