Making Your Dream Come True

Everyone wants to accomplish something in their life time rather it be big or small. We all want what Trey Songz crooned over the Drake track, "I just wanna be, I just wanna be successful".  Some of us are lucky enough to find our purpose and passion early in life. When you find your gift it is your duty to pursue your dreams. All talent but, wasted talent is good talent. So, you’ve decided what you want to do, you know how you’re going to do it and you’ve done it. You are not seeing results and you wonder why?

How can you walk if at first you don’t crawl? Just think it takes a baby 6 to 11 months before they can walk. Pursuing a dream and making it come true is like a baby taking its first steps, it will take time. You must believe, accept and trust that you will succeed in God’s time and not your own. Everyone must pay their dues before they get to enjoy their prize.

Sacrifice, put your steps in order, and go through the pain so that you can prosper. You serve an amazing God who has the abilities to bless you and make your every dream come true. God has to know you're serious and ready for all the awesome things he will make happen for you. You must use your gift he gave you, have a plan, take action on your plan, put in time and he will prosper you. I wish you the best in all your endeavors. Believe in God and his promise! Peace.

Yours Truly, T

  3. Tarah: what an inspiring and thought provoking post!! I really love this and I strongly believe in making dream come true. There is no worse thing in life than to never accomplish what you want to do. We may fail at it but what matters the most is that "we made it happen" and we should be proud.

I wish your friend still worked at Chanel, I was thinking perhaps you and I could get a discount..lol.

  4. This was such an inspiring post! I love the line "go through the pain so that you can prosper" because I feel like it's speaking directly to me. There is no reward without sacrifice.

Thank you so much for sharing this "soul food" with all of us and I wish you the best with your dreams and goals <3

  5. Dear Tarah,

Thank you so much for your really heartfelt comment on my page. It is indeed lovely to meet so many sincere people in the blogging universe.

I like what you wrote on this particular post. I cannot agree more that to achieve a dream takes time and dedication and the post picture speaks a thousand words. Your whole message is really inspiring as there are a few things that I have been contemplating on and off in doing but been procrastinating with multiple excuses. Thank you for your lovely post.

  6. Hi Tarah! I am always thrilled to see you and this is a fantastic post. For years I've been stuck in a job, an industry really that isn't exactly my true calling in life. Right now times are hard, I'd love to make a transition from Finance into something more creative...we'll see if my blog can help me! I think you are right though...what is meant to be is meant to be.

  7. I like this alot. my friends have been coming to me about their problems (as they always do), and it always the same "when is this gonna happen or when is that gonna happen???" and all i been saying all week is everything takes time. i have to sit back and say it to myself sometimes because nothing happens over night, not even success...
